Imperial Hand

Published by ENTIA on

The Imperial Hand is a small group of highly trained agents that answers directly to the Imperial Monarch.

Organization and Area of Influence

Differently from other Imperial military or civilian forces, the Imperial Hand does not have any formal hierarchical structure. They have more similarities to a knight order then a governmental organization. With no superior except for the Imperial Monarch themselves, all operatives of the Imperial Hand are formally equal among each other. Some seniority appears naturally though as there is a strong tradition of apprenticeship among the members of the Imperial Hand.

There is no clear information on identities of active operative, selection criteria, nor protocols that guide members of the Imperial Hand. It is only known that each member is hand picked by the Imperial Monarch themselves and is entrusted with duties of highest importance. These include guarding the lives of the Khan Family in high risk situations and conducting the most sensitive affairs for the Empire that may pose a secret even from the Secret Council.

Prominent Members

The Huntress is one of very few if not the single member of the Imperial Hand who is known to the general public. There is a theory that her exotic appearance is meant to incite wilder speculation and provide misleading rumors that would positively contribute to the mighty image of the Imperial Hand.

Role in the Imperial State

In relations with other Imperial forces and organizations, members of the Imperial hand do not have ranks that would correlate with hierarchical structures of these organizations. Still, even the most stubborn admiral of the Imperial Navy knows that if they are being approached by a member of the Imperial Hand, they better listen and obey the agent’s Imperial Will.
